Sidewind. The hanging umbrella by Bambrella.
Flexible, extremely robust and simple to operate.
Like the Levante, it is part of the premium Bambrella series, and one of the most robust hanging umbrellas available today – the Sidewind. All wooden parts are made of laminated bamboo. The solid materials effortlessly compensate for the side pole design's structural properties. Like all Bambrella models, the Sidewind has also been tested to 90 km/h in a wind tunnel – with secure ground anchoring, of course.
Even sunshades with central masts offer a large contact surface for wind, and must therefore withstand a lot. This effect is exacerbated by the suspended design of a side pole or hanging umbrella. The Sidewind is specifically designed to compensate for these challenges. For example, all fittings, end pieces and connectors are made of stainless steel, and the structural metal components consist of galvanised and powder-coated steel. The result not only impresses in the wind tunnel, it also looks great from top to bottom! To adapt flexibly to your requirements, the umbrella has a ball-bearing mounted rotating base as standard, and can be tilted forwards and back, to adjust the shade area for on the position of the sun.
